The Conservation Area Appraisals and Management Plans are currently underway.

Conservation Area Appraisals will provide a detailed picture of the special interest of the six towns conservation areas and identify opportunities and priorities for actions, an assessment of the areas, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This will include a review of the boundary of the areas and their setting.
The Management Plans will address the issues raised in the appraisals and set out realistic management objectives, considering their long-term renewal and proposals for resources and funding opportunities, as well as elaboration of related planning policies.
