Creating Local Futures Award
An award that reflects that a bright future is possible with a good job in our communities in Ceredigion.
This award is open to all businesses or organisations that have strengthened the identity of our communities in Ceredigion.
The judges will be looking for evidence to show that you have:
- Retained wealth in the county (e.g. through areas such as producing and saving energy, supply chains in the primary sectors)
- Created opportunities for people and families to stay or return to their home communities
- Created or improved modern employment opportunities (e.g. in media, digital, research, professional services)
- Ensured service provision through the medium of Welsh
- Increased the use of the Welsh language on a daily basis
- Supported and encouraged employees to learn Welsh
- Supported the Welsh language in other ways
Questions for the nomination form:
- Please give a brief description of your business/enterprise
- Trading start date (if applicable)
- What support have you provided to enable young people and families to remain or return to their communities?
- What steps have you taken to increase and retain local wealth in your area?
- How does your business support the use and prominence of the Welsh language?
- Any other comments to support your application?
