Ceredigion County Council have made an order under the Road Traffic Act 1984, the effect of which is to permanently close Footpath 43/15, where it runs through Aberaeron Secondary School during school hours.
The path will remain open and available outside of school hours i.e., evenings, weekends and holidays. The reason for the closure is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children and staff attending the school. This closure will have no effect on persons wishing to access the swimming pool or the leisure centre; arrangements will be in place to ensure that this access is unaffected.
If you believe this Order is invalid because it does not comply with legal requirements, you can apply to the High Court by 29/03/2023.
