Learn something new during Adult Learners’ Week in Ceredigion

Dysgu Bro Ceredigion is inviting residents to try something new during Adult Learners’ Week, taking place from Monday 7 to Friday 11 September 2026.

A programme of free activities will be held at venues across the county, including Cardigan, Aberaeron, Lampeter, Llandysul and Aberystwyth, alongside an online session.

The week will offer opportunities to develop digital and creative skills, learn more about family history, explore career options and try activities that support wellbeing. The events have been designed to be welcoming and accessible, whether someone is returning to learning, looking to develop a new skill or simply interested in trying something different.

Councillor Wyn Thomas, Cabinet Member for Schools, Lifelong Learning and Skills, said: “Adult Learners’ Week is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to discover the range of learning opportunities available here in Ceredigion. Learning a new skill can help build confidence, open doors to new opportunities and bring people together. I would encourage anyone who is interested to explore the programme, try something new and see where learning could take them.”
