The A44 Aberystwyth to Llangurig has now reopened.

Driving conditions are difficult on the A44 near Eisteddfa Gurig and Ponterwyd following the snow overnight.
Take care when travelling and on any other roads on higher ground. Our gritters are still out in the north of the county.

We’re expecting snow and ice across parts of Ceredigion this afternoon and into evening before gradually easing overnight.
Our gritters will be treating the pre-treatment network during the day and overnight.
Please take care, especially on untreated surfaces. There is a potential of disruption to some front line services due to the redeployment of staff to assist with gritting duties.
