A £30 booking/administration fee will be payable at the time of booking. This fee will be deducted from the final ceremony fee payable, but is non-refundable if the ceremony does not go ahead.
When you give notice of your marriage or civil partnership at your local register office, please record the venue as ‘Ceredigion Ceremony Room’.
Statutory ceremonies at the Ceredigion Register Office, Aberystwyth
Statutory marriage ceremonies and civil partnership registrations can be held within the licensed room referred to as the ‘Ceredigion Register Office’. This is a working office normally used for birth, death and other appointments. Ceremonies in this room are scheduled around registration appointments on Tuesday mornings only and are subject to availability.
The majority of couples interested in holding a basic ceremony to comply with the legal requirements only, choose to do so in a simple ceremony held within the ‘Ceredigion Ceremony Room’ (see above).
