A new online Winter Well-being Hub has been created to support Ceredigion residents.

With nights closing in early, the Winter Well-being Hub is here to provide a range of options for people to do and enjoy. This supports the well-being of our residents over the autumn and winter months.

There is information, posters and videos on a range of topics, namely:

  • Support
  • Health and well-being
  • Young people
  • Learning

Councillor Catherine Hughes, Ceredigion County Council Cabinet Member for Porth Ceredigion, Early Intervention, Wellbeing Hubs and Culture, said: “This is a valuable resource for the people of Ceredigion during the winter. It's a difficult time, especially as we try to keep ourselves and others safe from the Coronavirus. Here's a hub to turn to and take away what appeals, whether it's a walking challenge, online learning, or a session for young people - there's something for everyone.”

Typical activities and events that we would normally see during this time of year are no longer possible due to Coronavirus, however there is a chance to engage and participate in various opportunities online, from your home.

The Winter Well-being is in line with the Council’s Winter Strategy, to protect the health and wellbeing of our most vulnerable, including care services for the elderly and those whose medical conditions make them particularly at risk from COVID-19.

The Health and Wellbeing over Winter hub can be seen on the Council website.
