Tomorrow, 08 September, the Tour of Britain will start its fourth stage from Aberaeron.

The route will take cyclists from Aberaeron up to Aberystwyth and then to Borth before moving on to Barmouth.

Ceredigion County Council, in collaboration with the Tour of Britain organisers, are maintaining public safety and a closed stage start will take place on the outskirts of Aberaeron; spectators will not be allowed at this initial location.

But, Aberaeron town will be open and ready to welcome spectators as the cyclists embark on their journey through Ceredigion. The race will commence at 10:30am.

Spectators can continue to support the event along the route while being mindful of social distancing and practice road safety. Fans can also enjoy watching the event from the comfort of their own home as it will be televised on ITV4.
