Families and friends will be able to visit their loved ones once again at Ceredigion County Council Residential Care Homes.

The residents at Ceredigion homes look forward to welcoming families and friends. The Council is ensuring care homes reopen slowly and safely by enabling arranged visits.

As of Monday 27 July, families and friends will be able to visit outdoors.

The Council Residential Care Homes are:

  • Bryntirion Residential Care Home, Tregaron;
  • Cartref Tregerddan Residential Care Home, Bow Street;
  • Min Y Mor Residential Care Home, Aberaeron;
  • Hafan Deg Residential Care Home, Lampeter;
  • Yr Hafod Residential Care Home, Cardigan.

In order that visits take place in a safe and manageable way, clear guidelines are in place to be followed. These protocols maintain the residents, staff and visitor’s well-being and safety when reopening to visitors.

Book your slot

30 minute slots can be booked from Friday 24 July through contacting Clic Ceredigion Customer Contact Centre.

  • Call 01545 570881
  • or email clic@ceredigion.gov.uk

A maximum of 2 members of a family from the same household will be able to visit at one time. Each resident’s family/friends will only be permitted to book one slot so that we can ensure that each resident has an opportunity to have a visit. If there are additional appointments available, this may be reviewed by the service.

Families and friends who wish to organise a visit are encouraged not to contact the home directly. Staff at the homes are ensuring the continuity of safe care to the residents and are not able to arrange the visits.

Slots are available on a first come first served basis.

No visits will be allowed without pre-booking with Clic Ceredigion Customer Contact Centre.
