As expected, Ceredigion is already proving to be a popular destination for visitors this year.

With regular and first time visitors along with local staycationers expected to head for our coast and countryside over the coming months, we ask that they do so safely and respectfully.

Ceredigion County Council is ready to welcome visitors and has measures in place to ensure that they enjoy the county at its best. To do this safely, we have:

  • Safe Zones in our town centres
  • Effective contact tracing procedures
  • Visitor Assistants who will be visiting popular hotspots offering advice and assistance.

However, it is down to each and every one of us to make Ceredigion a safe and enjoyable a place to visit. Coronavirus has not gone away, and the recent variant is of concern.

It’s important that we:

  • Stay local
  • Support local
  • Care and respect each other
  • Care and respect our communities and the environment
  • Meet outside as it is safer than inside
  • Keep social mixing to a minimum
  • Get tested and self-isolate even for mild symptoms
  • Continue to follow the guidelines.

Take responsibility and play your part this summer. Let’s keep Ceredigion safe so that we can continue doing the things we love.
