Landlord Forums will be held in Aberystwyth and Aberaeron to discuss the Additional Licensing Scheme Review in October 2018 to gather opinions of residents, landlords and tenants.

The Forums will be an opportunity for landlords or managing agents to speak to Ceredigion County Council Officers regarding the review of the Additional Licensing Scheme.

The Additional Licensing Scheme is a discretionary licensing scheme operated by the Council. It can apply to certain types of houses of multiple occupancy and poorly converted flats. A mandatory scheme applies to larger houses of multiple occupancy.

The Cabinet Member responsible for Highways and Environmental Services together with Housing, Councillor Dafydd Edwards said, “Officers have already travelled across the county to gain the opinions of Ceredigion residents. These forums are another step to ensure the review comes to a conclusion that serves the people of the county.”

The Aberystwyth Forum will be held in Penbryn Hall, Aberystwyth University on Tuesday 16 October at 5:30-8:30pm. The Aberaeron Forum will be held in Neuadd Cyngor Ceredigion, Penmorfa, Aberaeron on Thursday 18 October at 5:30-8:30pm.
