Councillor Catrin M S Davies, Ceredigion County Council Cabinet Member responsible for Culture, said:If you’ve never been to the National Eisteddfod before, I would encourage you to visit Eisteddfod y Garreg Las. There will be incredible dance and acrobatics performances in the evenings, and the Super Furry Animals will be performing there too. You can enjoy opera, folk music and contemporary music performances; spend the day exploring the unique contemporary art exhibition in the Art Village; listen to live poetry performances; and share the emotion of watching new members being inducted into the Gorsedd. There are fantastic opportunities to shop for that special gift, countless food and drink stalls, and you’re sure to bump into someone you know and have a good chat. There truly is something for everyone at the Eisteddfod. So, whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned attendee, you’ll receive a very warm welcome in Llantood and especially in Pentre’r Garreg Las.”

There will also be performances by local artists and storytelling sessions in the Acoustic Tent, along with a host of other events taking place across the Maes.
