Ceredigion prepares to welcome Rali Ceredigion
The countdown is on for the return of JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion, which will bring visitors to Ceredigion from 4 to 6 September for one of the biggest events in the county’s annual calendar.
As excitement builds ahead of the event, Ceredigion County Council is encouraging residents and visitors to make the most of the occasion by supporting local shops, cafés, restaurants and businesses across the county.
While some temporary road closures will be in place to allow the rally to take place, town centres throughout Ceredigion will remain open for business. You can even visit Aberystwyth Farmer’s Market on 05 September, which will be going ahead as usual.
The internationally recognised event will once again place Ceredigion in the spotlight, attracting competitors, support teams, volunteers and spectators from across the UK and Europe. This year, a record number of 149 entries have been received.
Councillor Clive Davies, Ceredigion County Council Cabinet Member for the Economy and Regeneration, said: “Rali Ceredigion has become one of the most significant events in our county’s calendar and we are delighted to welcome competitors, teams and spectators back to Ceredigion. Events such as this provide a valuable opportunity to showcase everything our county has to offer while supporting local businesses, hospitality venues and attractions.”
Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead by checking road closure information and event updates on Ceredigion County Council’s website: JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigion 2026
