There will be something for everyone on Ceredigion County Council’s stand at this year’s Eisteddfod.

We want to celebrate what makes our county such a special place – an ideal place to live, belong, learn and succeed.

A range of events will be held throughout the week, including daily cooking demonstrations focusing on local companies from different areas of Ceredigion.

We are also proud to support successful local businesses by providing slots in our trading huts at Pentre’ Ceredigion. These small businesses will include arts and crafts companies, food and drink, clothing, goods and a publishing company. Come and support Ceredigion’s small businesses.

You can also relax in our green area and enjoy the natural beauty of our local areas and learn about new walking routes in your local area.

It will also include the only sports provision on the Maes, so bring your children to enjoy all kinds of activities. There will be a climbing wall, football, rugby, archery, cycling, yoga and fitness sessions every day of the week.

You can also make the most of vocational sessions with the Ceredigion Training team – why not try learning some mechanics, hairdressing or carpentry?

Pop by our performance stage, ‘Llwyfan-ni’, to enjoy memorable performances by Iwcadwli, Clera, Mewn Cymeriad, Mari Mathias, Bwca, Catrin Finch, and Ceredigion school pupils.

Or why not get cosy in the shade of T Llew Jones’ caravan to enjoy a story full of magic, or enjoy a lovely summery drink on our delicious smoothie bikes?

Councillor Bryan Davies, Leader of Ceredigion County Council, said: “One of the biggest cultural festivals in Europe is coming to Ceredigion this year, and we as a county are very excited and are looking forward to giving a warm welcome to everyone who will be visiting this special county. There has been considerable excitement for the Eisteddfod after a difficult period of restrictions over the last two years, so we look forward to celebrating our language and culture on the Maes in Tregaron and ensuring that the fruits of our communities’ hard work continue as a solid legacy for the future. We have prepared a great variety of activities and events on our stand in Pentre’ Ceredigion, and we look forward to chatting to people from far and wide, and sharing the excitement of the Eisteddfod and our special county with the nation. See you there!”

Various sessions, receptions and lectures will also be held on the stand throughout the week. The full schedule for Pentre’ Ceredigion can be found on our website: Ceredigion County Council: Eisteddfod
