Career opportunities and apprenticeships within the council were promoted at the careers fair held at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on 19 February. Over 1,000 pupils from secondary schools across Ceredigion attended the event which was organised by Careers Wales.
Prior to the event, 1,000 gold tickets were distributed to schools across Ceredigion. Pupils visited the council careers stand to enter their gold tickets into a prize draw.
The lucky winner was Daniel Romneypaterson, Year 10 pupil from Ysgol Penglais, Aberystwyth. Daniel won an iPad kindly donated by the information technology company, Insight UK.
The Learning and Development team will start their next apprenticeship recruitment campaign on 15 July 2019 and they look forward to receiving applications.
