The aim of the CNRAP is to deliver a framework of nature recovery actions, in a bid to reverse and stop the declines in biodiversity across Ceredigion.
You can read the second draft of the CNRAP on our Ceredigion Nature Recovery Action Plan and Questionnaire page.
The plan aims to guide the work of the Ceredigion Local Nature Partnership to stimulate project ideas, build ecosystem resilience for the region, strengthen local ambitions for nature-based solutions and target action in the short-term to help with the crucial delivery plan for the long-term of nature recovery in Ceredigion.
The NRAP will complement and support the existing Ceredigion Biodiversity Action Plan which is available on our Local Biodiversity Action Plan page.
As the Lead Body for Ceredigion’s Local Nature Partnership, what is the Council doing for Nature?
Ceredigion County Council has a duty under Section 6 of the Environment (Wales) Act 2016 to ensure the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity in all its functions.

The Council is working to integrate these Section 6 objectives into our corporate strategy and business plans.
