3. Eligible Costs
The Streetscape Enhancement Scheme supports the following works:
- Replacement of signage
- Treatment, cleaning, repair or replacement of street facing windows / facias / guttering and downpipes
- Repair or replacement of render to external façade of the building (including any street facing elevations)
- Repair and improvement work to the street facing elevation of the premises, including restoration of historic features such as floor mosaics and decorative shopfront details
- Decoration of the external façade of the building (including any street facing elevations)
- Scaffolding hire for safe access (permissions must be confirmed with the Council’s Highways Team)
Properties may be occupied or vacant, provided the works bring the unit back into use. Costs may include materials or contractor labour. Additional costs such as preparation works will be considered where justified.
