I am born and bred in the Aberystwyth area, having lived in the Pont-rhyd-y-groes area for over 30 years with my wife and 3 daughters and recently becoming a grandfather too! I take joy in being able to support and be part of the local community and am involved in a number of voluntary organisations. Back in 2010, I won the CAVO Ceredigion Volunteer award for ‘Trustee of the Year’ and have also been clerk to Ysbyty Ystwyth Community Council for 18 years.
In a meeting on 15 January 2018, the signatories of the Ceredigion Armed Forces Community Covenant reaffirmed their commitment to the Community Covenant and the work it carries out. The reaffirmation was carried out in the Council Chamber in Penmorfa, Aberaeron.
Rhys Meirion and Aled Wyn Davies, two tenors with a shared sense of humour and mischief, matched only by their lifelong love of music performed to a sell out audience at Theatr Felinfach on Saturday, 13 January.
