Two new novels have been published following collaborative work by pupils from primary schools in Ceredigion.

Public urged to remain vigilant as Avian Flu detected in seabirds along Ceredigion coast
Ceredigion County Council is urging residents and visitors to exercise caution following confirmed cases of avian influenza (bird flu) in wild seabirds along the Ceredigion coastline, particularly between Aberaeron and New Quay.

Ceredigion’s Youth Council Members visit Westminster
On 24 June 2025, Lleucu Nest, a Ysgol Penweddig pupil who represents Ceredigion in the UK Youth Parliament as Ceredigion’s Member of Youth Parliament (MYP), Kiani Francis, Ysgol Penglais pupil who represents Ceredigion in the Wales Youth Parliament and Bronwen Tuson, also a pupil at Ysgol Penglais and Chair of Ceredigion Youth Council, travelled to London to meet with Ceredigion Member of Parliament, Ben Lake.
