Residents in Ceredigion were able to access over 54 Warm Welcome Spaces throughout the County over the winter months of 2023-24.

The Warm Welcome Spaces are intended to give residents a warm friendly space to relax, enjoy and socialise. Every space is different, some provide a cup of tea or a bowl of cawl, others offer the opportunity to bring together parents with young children and older people to socialise, for free or for a small donation.

Check out the interactive map on the Council’s website to find your local Warm Welcome Space: Ceredigion Warm Welcome Spaces Winter 2023-24 – Google My Maps which has had over 12,000 views from the public.

Councillor Catrin M S Davies, Ceredigion Cabinet Member with responsibility for Culture, Leisure and Customer Services, said: “Holding regular sessions requires total dedication and a host of volunteers across the County has enabled there to be a wide provision of Warm Spaces through the winter months. They all deserve the greatest credit and our heartfelt thanks.”

Residents can get in touch with our Clic contact centre and ask about the Warm Welcome Spaces on 01545 570881 or email clic@ceredigion.gov.uk

Many of these Warm Welcome Spaces will continue to provide an opportunity to socialise over the coming months.
