Youth Work Week in Wales took place between 23 and 30 June 2023 this year. It was an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the impact and diversity of Youth Work across Wales.

Ceredigion’s Youth Work and Engagement Team celebrated with a variety of activities during the week, including the launch of a photography competition for young people between 11 and 25 who live in Ceredigion. You will be able to see the winning entries in the Youth Work charity calendar for 2024.

A total of 91 photographs were entered as part of the competition, and a youth panel had the difficult task of selecting the 12 winning photographs. It was a particularly difficult task to choose from a variety of creative photographs of such high quality.

The 12 winning entries selected by the youth panel were submitted by Caitlin Williams (Ysgol Gyfun Penweddig), Amelia Pearson (Ysgol Gyfun Penweddig), Megan Ena Mathias (Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi), Monika Wasiak (Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi), Haf Grasham (Ysgol Gyfun Penweddig), Arwen Edwards, Anwen Whitehead (Ysgol Gyfun Penweddig), Dion Sisto (Ysgol Bro Teifi), Lleucu-Haf Thomas (Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi), Llew Williams (Ysgol Gyfun Penweddig), Rebecca Clarke (Ysgol Penglais) and Seren Baxter-Campbell (Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi). The 12 winners have received a certificate and £20 voucher.

Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch is pleased to have the opportunity to showcase this work. The exhibition will be open 9.30-4.30, Monday to Friday until 02 November 2023.

Well done to all who entered!
