Consumer Advice - Citizens Advice Consumer Service:
The Citizens Advice Consumer Service handle initial enquiries about consumer rights, including faulty goods and services on behalf of all local authorities in Wales, England and Scotland. It is a government-funded service offering free information and advice.

Please note that the Trading Standards Service does not provide advice directly to consumers and is therefore unable to reply to emails that fall into these categories.
In some cases the Citizens Advice Consumer Service may refer your complaint/report to us if further investigation is required. Therefore, you may not receive a response from the Trading Standards Service.
Business Advice - Trading Standards:
If you are a business based in Ceredigion requesting information or advice about how to comply with the law, due to staff shortages, we are unable to provide this service at the present time. However, you may find the advice or information you are looking for on our Advice for Businesses section of our website or on the Business Companion website.
If you require advice concerning a civil dispute with a customer you can obtain advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service (details as above).
