Looking after a relative or a friend who has an illness or disability can be rewarding but it can also be extremely tough. If you look after someone, you can access a range of support in Ceredigion and from 1st April 2019, Gofalwyr Ceredigion Carers will be providing some of this support. This includes:

  • Proving information, advice and emotional support on an individual basis
  • Group activities including training and social opportunities
  • Help to access support to have a break from caring

Many unpaid Carers may already access Carers support, attend a Carers group, or perhaps receive some respite; however many struggle alone and without support. If you or anybody you know would like a bit of support, whether it is to simply let off steam, get some advice or to have some short-term respite, just get in touch on 03330 143377 or by emailing ceredigion@credu.cymru.
