The Aberystwyth Farmers Market will host a St David’s Day celebration on 2 March 2019. The event will celebrate the high quality Welsh produce available in the award winning market.

The local produce market is held on the first and third Saturday of every month on North Parade in Aberystwyth between 10am and 2pm. The event will celebrate top quality meats, organic vegetables, cheese and freshly baked bread, stunning jewellery and warm alpaca wool accessories.

Councillor Rhodri Evans is the Cabinet member responsible for Economy and Regeneration. He said, “We are extremely lucky to have produce of such high quality on our door step here in Aberystwyth. The market is a regular celebration of our location and being Welsh. It’s the perfect place to support our local farmers and producers.”

The 18 year old market provides the opportunity for customers to have a relationship with local producers, to discuss products and ingredients in depth and to understand where their produce comes from.

Local harpist Heledd Ifan Davies, will be performing a range of classic and contemporary songs from 12pm; providing atmospheric backdrop to the shopping experience and celebration.
