Councillor Shelley Childs has been elected for the Aberystwyth Penparcau County Council electoral ward during the by-election held on Thursday, 16 November 2023.
The Party of Wales, Plaid Cymru Councillor will represent the ward as County Councillor for Ceredigion County Council.
The position became vacant following former Councillor Steve Davies’ resignation in October 2023.
The turnout for the election was 25.24% with 37% of the votes going to Councillor Shelley Childs. He will start in his new role during the next few days.
