During December 2019 to January 2020, Ceredigion County Council consulted with the public on developing a new Economic Strategy for the next 15 years (2020-2035).

Feedback Report

We are consulting on developing a new Economic Strategy for the next 15 years. We are seeking views from all Ceredigion residents to help guide future opportunities to make Ceredigion a great place to live and work.

This strategy provides us with an exciting opportunity to be ambitious in developing a vision for growing the local economy. This consultation is aimed at all Ceredigion residents including young people, business owners, entrepreneurs and interested organisations. You are welcome to complete all three surveys if relevant to you.

  • Young people. As a young person living in Ceredigion today, we want to understand how you see Ceredigion now, what are the challenges and opportunities – your views are essential to help us shape the future together.
  • Business Owners and Entrepreneurs – As a business operating in Ceredigion we want to better understand the challenges faced by your business and gather your thoughts on how we can foster an environment where the private sector can thrive and grow.
  • General survey – We want to hear the views of Ceredigion residents to better understand the local economy and identify opportunities and priorities that will support and grow the economy in the future.

Paper copies of the surveys will also be available at the following libraries:

Aberaeron
Aberystwyth
Cardigan
Lampeter
Llandysul
New Quay

After the consultation process, we will produce and publish the results in a summary report on our website. We will use these results as part of the evidence in writing the Economic Strategy.

The survey must be completed by Friday, 31 January 2020 (CLOSED).

If you need this survey in a different format, such as large print or a coloured background, please contact Meleri Richards.
