The task of creating the annual Panto jigsaw began around June this year. As we were still in the clutches of Covid, it was impossible to know what would be allowed by the end of October when rehearsals would begin, but we’re delighted to announce that Cwmni Actorion Theatr Felinfach's iconic Panto will return to the stage this year.

Many things will be different of course; it will be a shorter show, there will be a limited number of tickets available for each performance, a mask will have to be worn and social distancing rules will have to be adhered to. The procedure within the building itself will also be different.

But ‘We’re Back and We’re On!’ and that's what matters! We’re all very accustomed to adapting now and the thought of returning to the Theatre and experiencing the magic that comes when the lights go down and when a ‘hush’ settles over the audience preparing for a colourful, noisy and cheerful show is enough to raise a smile.

What can we expect I wonder? There is great excitement in the Aeron Valley and across the whole of Wales to be precise. Al the Dog, Mami and the Vicar have been working on a project - the history of Wales from a whole new perspective. The History of Ci-mru is about to be launched in the Drwm at the National Library of Wales.

But the Baddies are back with a multi-layered plan that will stop A Million Welsh Speakers, culture, the transmission of stories and history from generation to generation .... it's an amazing plan!

Who will win the day and ensure our legacy is safe? Come to Theatr Felinfach between 4 and 11 December to find out. A limited amount of tickets are available so get in touch quickly before they run out.

For tickets, contact the box office between Monday - Friday from 9:30am – 3:30pm. If you cannot get through to the box office, leave a message with your name and phone number on the answerphone, or email theatrfelinfach@ceredigion.gov.uk and we will get back to you.

To gain entry you will need to show NHS COVID Pass (18+) or your Vaccine Record Card, proof of ID (18+) and evidence of a negative lateral flow test taken no more than 48 hours prior to the performance (11+).

Covid-19 guidelines will be implemented and social distancing measures will be in place at all shows.
