Strong winds, large waves and high tides are predicted on Thursday, 20 August until Friday 21, August.

Flood warnings have been issued by Natural Resources Wales for the tidal areas at Aberystwyth and Cardigan, and a flood alert is in place for the Ceredigion coast.

Sea spray and waves could be dangerous and could contain debris. Residents and visitors are asked to be vigilant, take care and stay away from coastal areas during the high tide periods, and to be careful on beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths, roads and low lying land, where coastal flooding is possible.
