The Council’s work is going ahead with restarting its meetings, being held online.

Welsh Government published legislation which was The Local Authorities (Coronavirus) (Meetings) (Wales) Regulations 2020. This legislation provides Councils with greater flexibility in how meetings are convened and held during this period.

A Cabinet meeting will be held on 9 June 2020 at 10.00am. In line with the legislation, the meeting will be held wholly or partly via video-conferencing facility, Zoom. The Welsh Government also use Zoom to hold its meetings.

The Cabinet meeting papers are available on the Council’s website from 02 June.

The meeting will be available on the Council’s Facebook page.

There is no intention currently to resume the usual meeting programme and any future meetings will be prioritised.

The last Cabinet meeting was held on 17 March 2020. Delegated powers were given by Council Leader, Councillor Ellen ap Gwynn to Gold Command during the Coronavirus, for decisions made in relation to the Council’s response to the COVID-19 crisis.
