This year’s Spring Fair will be celebrating Aberystwyth Farmers’ Market’s 18th anniversary.

Aberystwyth Farmers’ Market was launched in May 2000 and continues to be successful hosting up to 30 stalls every first and third Saturday of the month. With the celebrations falling in May, the Spring Fair is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the milestone.

The Fair is an opportunity for a day out for all the family. There will be a wide range of stalls - from bread and cakes, meat and vegetables, cheeses and preserves to gifts for treats. As well as the regular Farmers Market traders, the Spring Fair has even more stalls to enjoy.

Councillor Gareth Lloyd, Cabinet member responsible for Economic Development and Community Development, said “Having a market in Aberystwyth twice a month is important, not only for those businesses and producers who attend in all weather conditions, but also for the community and tourism. The Spring Fair is one of the pinnacles of the year, and is set to be very special this year. With the Market celebrating its 18th anniversary, let’s celebrate the milestone and support local.”

The Spring Fair will be held along North Parade, Aberystwyth between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, 19 May.
