Since that time she was appointed by Ceredigion County Council to the post of Head of Adult Services; in 2016 was appointed the Strategic Director – Care, Protection & Lifestyle, and appointed a Corporate Director in April 2018.

Eifion Evans, Chief Executive of Ceredigion County Council thanked Sue for her loyal and dedicated service to the Council, “I wish Sue all the very best on her retirement. Her retirement brings with it a huge loss for the Council and the county and her company will be missed as a colleague and a friend. During the decade where Sue has been working in the Council, she has been instrumental in developing and being part of collaborative projects and working in partnership with others for the benefit of Ceredigion. We thank her greatly for this.

We wish Sue all the very best for a happy retirement. We hope she will enjoy her interests and time with her husband John, the family, and of course, being Mam-gu to Imogen and Izzidora.”
