The Household Waste Site (HWS) at Glanyrafon, near Aberystwyth re-opened on Thursday 4 June.

Due to the new arrangements put in place and the support of local residents this has gone well so far with no significant issues reported. As part of Caru Ceredigion the Council would like to sincerely thank residents for working with us and playing their part in this.

The HWS sites at Lampeter and Cilmaenllwyd, near Cardigan, are scheduled to re-open at 09:00 on Thursday 11 June with the site at Rhydeinon, near Llanarth, set to reopen at 09:00 on Wednesday 17 June. Access to all the sites is limited for essential use only to for cars with even-numbered plates on all the even days of the month and cars with odd-numbered plates on all the odd days of the month.

The FAQ’s can be found at www.ceredigion.gov.uk/householdwastesite.
