Little Mill Players’ pantomime this year is ‘Puss in Boots’ and will be performed at Theatr Felinfach on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 January at 7.30pm as well as on Saturday 27 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Although we’re familiar with the story of ‘Puss in Boots’, this production is not the traditional one that we all expect but a production with a bit of a twist! However, the show is suitable for the whole family.

The Little Mill Players have existed as long as Theatr Felinfach has been in existence, since 1972. Members of the company come from various parts of Ceredigion and one of the longest standing members of the current cast is Dilys Megicks, who’s been a member for some 23 years. During that time she has portrayed various characters including a ‘baddy’ and Ianto’s Nan. She enjoys the traditional pantomime slapstick as well as being a villain!

The age range of the cast varies from 7 to 60+ and their jobs vary from manual to managerial as well as school pupils and students. The show’s director, Stephen Entwhistle, himself has been a member of the group for about 15 years. He was initially the Musical Director, then progressed to being an actor and is now the boss!

Another member of the cast is Andrew Tyrrell who usually plays the panto ‘Dame’ or other comical character. He most certainly is the comedian of the cast and has a huge influence on everyone else and keeps them all going!

Part of the cast are going around some of the local towns , such as Lampeter, Aberaeron and Aberystwyth to promote the production so keep your eyes peeled for the ‘Killer Bunnies’ as well as ‘Puss’ himself.

Remember to follow Little Mill’s Facebook page for opportunities to win tickets to the production. Tickets are available from Theatr Felinfach’s Box Office on 01570 470697 or online at www.theatrfelinfach.cymru. Ticket prices are £8 for adults, £7 for Senior Citizens and £6 for children.
