The Ffostrasol Arms, Llandysul, has been permitted to reopen after improving its procedures and facilities in response to a closure notice issued on 15 October 2020.

The public house had been required to close by Public Protection Officers from Ceredigion County Council and Dyfed-Powys Police after breaches of The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No.2) (Wales) Regulations 2020.

Since the closure notice was issued, the proprietors of the public house have been working with Public Protection Officers to make improvements. The premises has been permitted to reopen as Officers are now satisfied that sufficient steps have been taken to ensure that the premises and staff comply with the coronavirus restrictions.
