Ceredigion County Council is currently putting plans into place to resume indoor visits at each of the Local Authority Care Homes in Ceredigion in accordance with the announcement of the First Minister on Thursday 20th August. However, in order to ensure that these visits are planned with the correct safety measures in place, we will not be introducing these visits immediately.
We have contacted all of the families to advise them of current developments, and we are pleased to note that feedback has been very positive in relation to the outdoor visits and the opportunity that this has provided for families to regain face-to-face contact with their loved ones.
Our key aim is to ensure that everything is in place to allow the introduction of indoor visits in a planned and safe way for residents and staff. Families will be notified once plans are in place, however with the changes to the weather we are encouraging friends and families to continue their visits through the existing provisions of Video Conferencing for the time being.
