Cered: Menter Iaith Ceredigion hosted a Minecraft competition to give opportunities for young people to socialise through the medium of Welsh outside of school. Cered are very eager to continue developing programmes that promote the Welsh language. In the next few months, Cered are keen to organise an App Workshop so that young people can enjoy an innovative experience through the medium of Welsh.

Rhodri Francis, Cered Development Officer said “It’s great to give these opportunities to young people in Ceredigion. The skills developed will be essential throughout their lives such as team working, leadership skills, creativity and presentation skills. Congratulations to the following pupils from Ysgol Bro Pedr for winning this years Minecraft 2019 comeptition; Taylor Lewis, Cai Allen, Kondrad Sygyda and Dwylan Jenkins. Second in the competition were Cari Hallgarth and Osian Hallgarth from Ysgol Bro Teifi. Congratulations to all.”
