As part of Youth Work Week 2018 celebrations, Ceredigion Youth Service (CYS) will host an open evening at Cardigan Youth Centre.

Taking place on Wednesday, 27 June 2018, between 6pm and 7:30pm, the open evening will be an informal opportunity for young people, families, local residents and partners to take a look around the centre, meet the Youth Workers and enjoy some light refreshments.

The centre hosts a weekly youth club provision for young people, and is utilised daily by a range of partner organisations working with children and young people including Dysgu Bro, Ceredigion Training, Girl Guiding and the St John Ambulance.

Ceredigion County Council’s Youth Service’s Deputy Principal Youth Officer, Lowri Evans said, “Held between 23 and 30 June, Youth Work Week is a great opportunity for Ceredigion Youth Service to celebrate and showcase their work and the provisions available to young people across the County. The open evening at Cardigan Youth Centre is the perfect opportunity for young people, families and members of the local community to come along and see what’s on offer. There will be a warm welcome to all to join us and enjoy complimentary food and refreshments.”
