An Inter-Community Support Base sporting event was recently held at the Leisure Centre at Gwersyll yr Urdd, Llangrannog, to raise money for Sports Relief.
Approximately 40 people from Canolfan Meugan (Cardigan), Canolfan Padarn (Aberystwyth) and Canolfan Steffan (Lampeter) attended the event where various games were played. Attendees also took part in quiz and a raffle, followed by lunch. Canolfan Padarn and Canolfan Steffan are centres of community support bases for adults with learning disabilities whilst Canolfan Meugan is an integrated service.
Janet Broome, Project Worker at Canolfan Meugan said, “It was fantastic to see so many people get together for this charity sporting event, lots of fun was had whilst raising the money for Sport Relief. A big thank you is given to Iestyn Evans at Gwersyll yr Urdd, Llangrannog. Well done to all who took part.”
A total of £230 was raised for Sport Relief.
