Ceredigion County Council is reminding residents to keep themselves and their families safe as they celebrate Halloween and Bonfire Night this year.

Coronavirus continues to spread across the County, particularly in young people who will want to enjoy the celebrations this year.

The Council along with Heddlu Dyfed-Powys are asking residents to stay at home to celebrate in order to reduce community transmission of Coronavirus as well as protecting our vital emergency services.

Coronavirus has not gone away and taking part in the traditional Halloween activities such as trick or treating and parties pose a risk to the spread of the virus and we ask that you think about your decisions.

Carving pumpkins, dressing up, doing arts and crafts and telling stories are a handful of ways to celebrate at home this year.

Visit www.mawwfire.gov.uk and www.dyfed-powys.police.uk to read up about Halloween, bonfire and firework safety.

Together, we can keep Ceredigion safe.
