Today, the UK Government has announced the list of successful applicants for the Community Renewal Fund. After applying for the fund in June 2021, Ceredigion County Council and its local partners have been successful in securing funding totalling £2,830,546 for community projects.

The funding award follows an application process held in May of this year, that sought proposals to support people and communities to pilot programmes and new approaches and will invest in skills, community and place, local business, and supporting people into employment.

Following the call for proposals, a package of 12 local projects made up the final application of just under £3 million to UK Government, which have all been supported in today’s funding announcement:

  • New Skills New Start
  • Reverb
  • Rural Community Engagement and Outreach Project
