It’s Panto time once again in Theatr Felinfach - one of the flagship participatory and community projects. This year, it’s hard to believe that the Welsh language Panto celebrates it’s 50th birthday and one cast member has appeared in every production!

What will be in store? The Theatre itself has had more than it’s fair share of publicity this year. What does the future hold for the Theatre - will it stay in its original home or will it be recreated in a new location? And what about Brexit – is it possible to ignore it? Come to one of the performances between 8 and 15 of December to see for yourself.

Rhian Dafydd, Theatr Felinfach’s Business and Marketing Manager said, “The Panto period is an exciting one from year to year. It’s an opportunity for actors, performers and members of the community to take part, on stage or behind the scenes. A group of volunteers come together to develop the plot, story and script under the guidance of the theatre's Creative Team. They follow a professional theatre schedule to create a big show in a short space of time. The rehearsal period is chaotic and exciting at the same time knowing that audiences will travel from a distance to enjoy the new and original story that revolves around a group of likeable characters based in the Aeron Valley.”

Without a doubt Theatr Felinfach’s Panto is completely unique, original and definately different! Whether you come as Young Farmers Clubs, Urdd groups, Sunday School groups or as families, you will have a warm welcome and without a doubt laugh until it hurts.

Performances start on Saturday, 8 December at 4pm and continue every night from Monday, 10 December to Friday, 14 December at 8pm. Performances on Saturday, 15 December will be at 1pm, 4pm and 8pm.
