Drop-in sessions will be held across Ceredigion as the council gathers information to help inform a new Economic Strategy for the next 15 years. The drop-in sessions are aimed at Ceredigion businesses and will gather their opinions on how the council can support them in the future.

A process is underway to consult on the development of a new Economic Strategy. Online surveys have already been launched and are having a good level of response. Information from the business drop-in sessions will be used alongside survey responses to help council officers to write the Economic Strategy.

The below table shows information on when the sessions will be held:

Park Lodge Hotel, Aberystwyth

Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan

Lampeter Rugby Football Club

Councillor Rhodri Evans is the Cabinet member responsible for Economy and Regeneration. He said: “Boosting the economy is one of our corporate priorities. We want to better understand the challenges businesses face in Ceredigion and to gather thoughts on how we can create an environment where the private sector can thrive.

“If you have a business in Ceredigion or are thinking of starting one, I urge you to go to one of the sessions. We want to know how you think we can help your business.”
