Childcare providers are being urged to register as providers of the Government’s Childcare Offer. Ceredigion County Council is calling on all Ceredigion based childcare providers to complete the online registration form.
The Council has been designated a delivery authority of the Childcare Offer by the Welsh Government and is currently preparing for the launch of the offer on 01 September 2018. The offer provides up to 30 hours of funded childcare and early years education for eligible working parents of 3 and 4 year old children.
The Cabinet member responsible for Learning Services, Councillor Catrin Miles said, “Every childcare provider in Ceredigion should see the Childcare Offer not only as a fantastic opportunity for parents, but also as an opportunity to provide better stability for their businesses. It’s also their chance to be a part of a nationally funded and trusted scheme. The Offer is a great asset to any childcare provider and many in the county are planning to extend their opening hours because of the offer.”

An online registration form for eligible working parents to register for the funded childcare offer is being finalised and will be available in the near future.
