On Friday, 27 April at 8pm, Theatr Felinfach will be hosting Cabarela, which will be something quite different to the Theatr’s usual offering. It will be an informal evening with a variety of fun loving artists, introduced by Wales’ version of ‘4 poofs and a piano’; 3 sisters and a jazz duo! The word Cabarela is a combination of cabaret and Sorela; a Welsh acapella folk band consisting of three sisters from Aberystwyth.

Following Cabarela’s huge success in the National Eisteddfod in Anglesey last year their sights are now set on Ceredigion. Sorela, with their sweet harmonies, will be introducing an eclectic mix of artists for this extraordinary evening of Welsh language, humour, wit and satire.

Performances of the evening will include: the queen of the small screen, Maggi Noggi; the electric voices of the ‘Divas and Diceds’ namely Elain Llwyd, Ffion Emyr and Mari Wyn and musical satire from Hywel Pitts.

Don’t miss out on Ceredigion’s first Cabarela! Tickets are £20 and are available from the Box Office on 01570 470697 or online at theatrfelinfach.cymru. The evening is unsuitable for children.
