Drop in sessions for people in Ceredigion affected by the flooding following Storm Callum are being held. The first session will take place in Lampeter on 30 October.

The sessions will give people the chance to talk with agencies who can offer support and advice on dealing with the effects of flooding.

The events will be held in:
• Room Dewi 1, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Lampeter Campus on 30 October 6-8pm
• Wales and West Housing Offices, Newcastle Emlyn on 01 November 6-8pm
• Y Porth Hotel, Llandysul on 07 November 6-8pm
• Coracle Hall, Llechryd on 08 November 6-8pm

Ceredigion County Council Leader, Councillor Ellen ap Gwynn said, “The floods have struck homes and communities in south Ceredigion especially hard. Following visits made by officers of the Council to ensure the safety and the needs of all affected by the recent floods, these drop-in sessions will allow all who have been affected to receive any further advice and assistance that they may require.”

There are basic precautions to follow when clearing up after a flood. Additional information is available on the Council's website: www.ceredigion.gov.uk/StormCallumFloods.
