There will be an evening of Welsh stand-up comedy by Noel James, Sion Owens and the Welsh Whisperer at Theatr Felinfach on Saturday, 24 March at 8:00pm.

Rhian Dafydd, Theatr Felinfach’s Business and Marketing Manager, said, “If you’re a fan of the Welsh Whisperer, then you’ll know that the tank is full of red diesel and the ‘Mansel Davies man’ is flat to the mat! Come and listen to his country folk pop about the chilled life of rural Wales, songs and west-Wales humour, fresh from the ‘Wales & Western’ scene. Dressing up like the Welsh Whisperer is optional but recommended.

After treading the stand–up boards in England during the 90’s, Noel James returned to Wales and started writing his own material in Welsh. A witty, dynamic and original show is the result of his work, that includes jokes, music and inevitable commentary on the state of Wales. The Eirwyn Pontsian of the the 20th century.

Following his launch in to the comedy scene in ‘Cymryd y Mic’ on the tv programme ‘Y Lle,’ Siôn Owens is quickly making a name for himself as one of the most exciting new entertainers in Wales is. Originally form Caernarvon, he now lives in Cardiff. Don’t miss this new talent and his energetic style.

There’ll be something for everyone’s taste and you’re welcome to bring the whole family, young and old, well not too young!” Age Guidance of 16+.
