A new flood warning has been issued for River Leri in Borth.

Properties at risk include Glanlerry Caravan Park and Animalarium.

The flood warning is based on a tidal forcast, and the high tide is expected today at 10am.

The flood warning for the tidal area at Cardigan is no longer in force.

The warning by Natural Resources Wales is based on the tidal forecast and could remain in place for Friday the 24 March.

For Cardigan properties at risk are adjacent to the Teifi river between Cardigan Bridge and the A487 road bridge, including The Strand, St Mary Street, Gloster Row, Pwllhai. Also the supermarket car park and adjacent properties.  

While in Borth the high tide could lead to overtopping waves and a risk of flooding at nearby properties near Glanlerry caravan park and the Animalarium.
