The purpose of 'Ceredigion County Council Winter Strategy for COVID-19 Pandemic 2020-21' is to provide an overview of the latest analysis on the behaviour of the virus here in Ceredigion and to set a clear rationale that will influence decisions up to April 2021.

The following six months are critical in our fight against this virus.

There are three priority areas the Council has identified:

  1. Protection of the health and wellbeing of our most vulnerable, including care services for the elderly and those whose medical conditions make them particularly at risk from COVID-19.
  2. Protection of the education provision within schools, colleges and universities.
  3. Enable the local economy to survive the winter months.
