LDP Deposit Consultation

The Consultation has now closed

The public consultation period on the 3 documents below will last 8 weeks between 22 December 2010 and noon 17 February 2011.

As part of the process of preparing the Ceredigion Local Development Plan (LDP) (2007-2022), the Council is now consulting on the Deposit Local Development Plan (LDP) Documents (see copy of 'notice of deposit matters'. Upon adoption,  this will replace the current development plan and form the basis for decisions on land use planning for the County of Ceredigion.

This stage of the consultation includes the following documents:

The consultation period on the Deposit Documents will run for an eight week period from 22 December 2010 to 12 noon on Thursday 17th February 2011. This is two weeks longer than required in order to account for the Christmas period.

All the above documents will be available for inspection free of charge from 22 December 2010 at the Planning Department, Neuadd Cyngor Ceredigion, Penmorfa Aberaeron, SA46 0PA & Council office Adpar during office hours and at the County's local libraries during usual opening times (see or contact the Forward Planning team for these hours) and on the Authority's website (as above). Documents will also be available to purchase from the address below either on CD rom or in paper copy. The Authority would welcome comment or observations from you regarding these documents.

If you wish to make a representation you must do so by 12 noon on Thursday 17th February 2011.

Representations should specify the test(s) of soundness to which they relate (see LDP Representation Form for an explanation of the 'test of soundness' or  to the Soundness tests). The deposit LDP will be considered by an independent Inspector who will assess whether it is 'sound'.
