Your Council is changing
In the future Ceredigion County Council won’t have enough money from Government to do all the things we do now. Some services will stop and some will change.
In order to address this we have been looking at ways to transform the way we work and the way we deliver services. There was a major restructure in 2013 and other changes have meant that the Council has already saved £20million over the last three years. Unfortunately, we will need to save a further £25million over the next three years, so we are continually reviewing the way we deliver our services in order to be more effective, efficient and fit for purpose.
During this process of transformation, maintaining a dialogue with our residents is vital. An ongoing programme of engagement and consultation enables us to understand your views as we work through our budget challenge.
Listed below are the engagement exercises and consultations undertaken around the budget challenge.
