Library membership is free and there is no cost to borrow books, use computers nor to use any reference resources. When you join the library you undertake to return borrowed items within an agreed time, otherwise a system of fines will come into operation.

Loan Policy

Books

  • Up to 20 books at a time
  • Free of charge for 4 weeks
  • You may renew books up to 3 times (only provided no-one else has requested the book)

DVD

  • 3 DVDs at a time, £2.60 per DVD, Concessions - £1.40, Registered Blind/Sight Impaired - Free
  • Loan period 7 days
  • Large selection DVD’s for a £1, 3 DVDs at a time

CD

  • 3 CDs at a time £1 per item, Concessions - 60p, Registered Blind - Free
  • Loan period 2 weeks

Talking Books

  • 3 CDs at a time, £1.50 per item, Concessions - £1.00, Registered Blind - Free
  • Loan period 2 weeks
